Billing and Account FAQ’s
Billing and Account FAQ’s
When do I have to pay my monthly fees?
We bill all Skyline Wireless users on the 15th of every month. If there is a credit card on file, the balance owing will automatically be billed to the card. However, if you do not have a credit card on file, we advise that you make alternate payment arrangements.
When are statements sent?
Statements are sent on the 15th of each month, to your ‘ssimicro’ email address. If you would prefer your statements to be sent to a different address please advise us.
Can I pay for my account with Online Banking?
Yes, you can pay for your account with Online Banking. You will just need to add SSI Micro as a payee and make a payment to your account username.
(IMPORTANT: When paying online you should make the payment at least five business days before the payment is due!)
What should I do when I move?
If you are moving within town give us a call and provide us with your new address. You should not have any trouble using your account anywhere you move within Yellowknife.
Leaving town?
As of present, our modems will only work in Yellowknife, so if you know that you are moving out of Yellowknife, we ask that you return your modem to our SSI Micro office on Old Airport Road, before you relocate. (Please, refer to “cancellation of services”) Our highly qualified programmers are working on changes so they will be able to roam through out all of the NWT and Nunavut. Subscribers will be notified of this change as soon as it’s available.
Canceling service:
Cancellation of services by the subscriber must be done in person at SSI Micro’s Yellowknife office. Subscriber must return the rental modem to SSI in order to close the account successfully. Modems are on loan for the duration of the agreement between the subscriber and SSI Micro and must be returned at the time of service cancellation. Failure to return the modem will result in a fee of $235.00 + GST. We suggest that service cancellation is done prior to your anniversary date in order to avoid further charges; SSI Micro will not provide refunds for partially used months.
