Our people love to work here. SSi’s staff love technology and we encourage innovation, growth and mentorship between all departments. We were also nominated as a Top Northern Employer in Up Here Business magazine two years in a row.
Our office has a two-way flow of communication between management and staff. This openness carries over into relationships with our customers. We share every piece of news, good and bad. That means we take ownership of our successes, but also our mistakes. And we love to see a good idea take shape. Company founder Jeff Philipp once said “The only reason we’re not building rocket ships is because no one here has taken the initiative to try it yet.” With this strong support for creativity, it’s not surprising many staff have worked here for more than 10 years.
And while we're always interested in discussing new projects, we don't take every contract that comes our way. We prefer work that challenges our capabilities and demands creative solutions. If it isn't challenging, we're probably not interested. That's the SSi way.
