SkyLine delivers Broadband Internet access, like a cable or DSL modem, only it does so without being connected to anything but your computer (wireless.) Skyline should work in any room or office, without any antenna or external cabling. It's fast, delivering speeds that are comparable to cable & DSL. The service also provides Yellowknife's small & home Businesses with the option of having a High Speed Internet connection that they can take with them, anywhere in town. Take your modem to consultations, move around town and connect when and where you want. We offer simple plug and play installation. No appointments or equipment installations necessary. Just take your modem, plug it in and you are ready to surf the net. SSI also offers Dedicated DSL Services for larger businesses, web and Email hosting and a whole host of other great services.

Package & Pricing - Skyline SOHO

The Skyline SOHO plan is for small office/home office users or those organizations employing 10 or fewer employees. The plan contains the following features:

  • Wireless Internet connection & modem rental
  • 5 Gigabytes of data transfers
  • 10 E-mail accounts
  • 10 IP addresses
  • Anti-spam & anti-virus services for all E-mail accounts
  • Access to all major account settings - manage your account on-line!
  • Free basic firewall services
  • 10 MB web space - set up your own web site. (FTP accessible)
  • Access to I-Pass, our global dial-up roaming service
  • Access to high quality technical support

Skyline SOHO is not intended for use in organizations with more than 10 employees, or in "mission critical" situations (when you need a guaranteed level of speed, we suggest you look at our DSL offerings.) Please contact us if you are a larger organization in need of connectivity services, as we do have other service offerings that are more appropriate.

Monthly Fee: $149.95 / Month
Registration Fee: There is a one time registration fee of $49.95

Add-ons & Options

SSI Micro offers a wide range of options allowing you to customize your Small Business Broadband package. We offer everything from extra email addresses and additional bandwidth, to firewall, antivirus and roaming services. We now sell outdoor subscriber units, modems that can be mounted on the outside of a building. These modems are designed for customers who cannot get a signal because they are inside a metal building or because the signal is just a bit too weak where they are located. This modem can be mounted up to 50 feet away from the computer. Contact us for details!
