Take, for instance, this piece I found on the Internet:

"At least one of the organizations I once communicated with on a regular basis stated that the HAARP project was but a cog in a major initiative associated with the US "Star Wars" program. They claimed that this project is 100% military. One of the useful military aspects is HAARPs ability (objective?) to transmit energy to any location on the globe. If one has a vivid imagination, you could visualize this system working in harmony with geostationary satellites, equipped with holographic projectors, to create large power patterns around the globe, each capable of interacting with a particular satellite.

Then, with a greater stretch of the imagination, you could arrive at the hypothesis, that with this system, you could generate holographic images of squadrons of foo-fighters, or ships, armoured vehicles, armies, etc. And why stop here? Visualize the second coming of Christ, UFO images projected anywhere around the globe. What is being suggested is that this array could become the ultimate mind-control device. It could be used to convince people looking for an answer to the problems of our modern age, answers---answers that would/could serve to enslave them."
