Dear Mr. WASYLKIW,

In response to your letter dated September 17th, 1996 requesting any further reports that we may have at our detachment on "UFO"sightings in the Hay River area, I wish to inform you that we have no other files concerning incidents of this nature.

During the "wave of sightings" last winter the media published several articles and if you have not already done so you may wish to contact our local paper, "THe Hub", "News North" and possible "The Yellowknifer".

I do not recall any other "sightings" in our detachment area nor do our records support any however there were considerable "sightings" reported towards Fort Resolution area involving different colored lights in the sky. This information was published through the local papers mentioned and they may be best to comment on the same.
