This will be an area where I'll put some information that might not exactly fit in with the rest of the info on the site, but is still of a northern and/or dubious nature...

On January 24, 1978, a nuclear-powered Russian satellite crashed down in the NWT and we were the honoured guests of the US military, who made a hasty and secretive recovery of the satellite...

Poisson Aerospace, a Canadian aerospace company, may have been running a top secret program during the mid-seventies that had Alberta residents convinced that they had been visited by UFOs.

-- Awhile back I received a request from someone on the Internet:
I would like to know if there is somewhere I could check and see if there was a UFO seen on the night or early morning hours in the NWT on Sept 19-20th 1961 ... this of course is the date of the famous Betty Hill case
   Anyone know something about this?

-- A friend of mine told me a friend of his witnessed a UFO flying over a lake in Yellowknife in the mid-80's. Unfortunately, that's about all he could tell me.

-- Think Canada isn't as exciting as the US when it comes to conspiracy theories? Think again. Check out this Canadian Conspiracy Site...

-- Lots of strange occurances happening out east - check out the Newfoundland UFO Phenonmena web site...
