DECLARATION FOR INVALID PENSION - 6 August 1887: Gives age of Henry as being 41, 5'10" tall, fair complexion with grey eyes and gives his occupation as being a farmer. The document goes on to describe the maladies suffered as a result of his service in the Civil War.

DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR = BUREAU OF PENSIONS - 19 Sept 1887: Correspondence which provides information pertaining to symptoms of Henry's condition.

WAR DEPARTMENT - ADJUTANT GENERAL'S OFFICE - November 9, 1887: Correspondence which indicates that their records indicated no evidence of disability.

GENERAL AFFIDAVIT - 28 November 1887: Affidavit by John M. Stewart stating that he is acquainted with Henry Bradford for over 30 years, that they were both in the same regiment and that prior to his service he was a strong healthy man. It goes on to state that since his discharge he has been bothered by chronic diarrehea and piles.

GENERAL AFFIDAVIT - 13 April 1893: Affidavit by James U. White stating that he is well acquainted with Henry Bradford, and that Henry complains of rheumatism, piles and rupture. He also states that Henry appears to be badly swollen, that he is a man of good habits but in James' judgement is not able to do hard work.

GENERAL AFFIDAVIT - 13 April 1893: Affidavit by John M. Stewart which basically reiterates both his previous statement as well as that of James White.

GENERAL AFFIDAVIT - 9 May 1893: Affidavit by Anthony Evans which reiterates the same kinds of things as the ones listed above.

GENERAL AFFIDAVIT - 8 May 1893: Affidavit by Willis Underwood which is the same as the above.

DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR - Bureau of Pensions - 15 Oct 1897: Letter to Henry requesting information. He replies 22 Oct 1897 giving information on his marriage to Angeline Shelton and the births of their children.

DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR - Bureau of Pensions - 15 January 1898: Letter to Henry requesting information. He replies 4 June 1893, again giving information on his marriage and his children.

DECLARATION FOR INVALID PENSION - Act of June 27, 1890: States Henry is 71, a resident of Manchester, Adams Co. OH. Gives service information, disability information, etc.

DECLARATION FOR INVALID PENSION - Act of February 6, 1907: Dated 26 March 1907, it states that Henry is 83, gives his date of birth as 24 March 1824, and that he was born in Adams Co. OH. It lists his places of residence as being Adams Co. until 1870, then Lewis Co. KY until 1890, and since then in Adams Co. OH. He appoints Stephen J. Lawwill of Manchester as his Attorney.

PENSIONER DROPPED - 20 May 1908: States that Henry Bradford, Certificate No. 394269, was last paid at It is signed by W. R. Warnock.
