Dear Family and Friends,

The following pages are a transcript of the old recipe book kept by our loved one, Ruth Lambert. She collected them over a period of many years, and where possible, I have included the name of the person who gave her the recipe.

In cases where specific baking instructions were not noted, the standard format for that particular procedure has been included. An index has also been included to assist you in finding those special recipes.

You will also note that I have included the poems which she had pasted in the book. I truly hope that this booklet provides you and your families with many appetizing meals, tasty treats and helpful ideas along with a little food for the soul.
